Beyond Fear: Tiger Shark Attack on Discovery Channel This docudrama was my screen debut – I played the friend of the woman who was eaten by the tiger shark off Maui. I also learned about the Hawaiian connection with mano.
Google List for Ron & Valerie Taylor Ron & Valerie filmed the underwater shots for the Jaws movies, and are shark freaks from Australia.
Ocean Systems Lab This is the business of my UC Berkeley professor, Mary Lou Coulston, who took me on sabbatical with her for six months of SCUBA diving in Lake Michigan (UofM), the Virgin Islands (Island Resources Foundation) and Nantucket Sound (Wood’s Hole Oceanographic Insititute). This site was originally conceived as a place to discuss the transition in consciousness that is taking place. I have now begun what I intend to be a podcast series on this transition and how it can be embraced in every day life.
In this podcast, I introduce the transition concept and discuss how it applies to two confusing issues: murder and failure!
Failure: “an event that does not accomplish its intended purpose”
Note there is no moral downside in the actual definition, though the word “failure” often conveys a negative emotional response.

With much encouragement from Shane (none of this matters) I decided to try podcasting. I briefly talk about another example of “It’s All About The Energy” — it’s possible to get introverted shy nerdy geeks to become “chatty kathies” when given the right set of tools, circumstance, and support.
As a little girl, I often repeated the mantra “when there’s a will, there’s a way.” That was the young Capricorn approach…you can almost feel that unihorn piercing the future.
Now I interpret that same energy by being a glass half full kind of person – always holding out the possibility that people do change, they explore, lo and behold they even enjoy things previously poo pooed! Like talking to each other for hours on end about nothing too much in particular. Such a social girl thing, it used to be!
