BlogHer, a women’s blogging community, is one of the communities I support. It has given rise to so many voices, mostly but not exclusively women. There is power in the blogosphere, and it comes as much from understanding and sharing our own words as it does from exerting influence over others. Given the choice, I choose to have power over and within myself.

They hosted their first “blog for business” conference in New York City on March 22-23, 2007. I spoke there.

Now I am speaking at the BlogHer annual conference in San Francisco, July 18-20, 2008. I hope I have a chance to meet you there.
